Kids today are not more stupid than before - it's you who have become smarter.
Music today isn't worse than before - its you that got older and have higher standards.
Youth culture today isn't more stupid than it was when you were younger - you have just gotten too old to understand it, just like your parents and teachers were too old to understand your culture.

I'm not certain if this is related but there's this one particular anime I adore the most out of all the ones I like, it's not insanely popular just so you know, unfortunately the majority of it's fanbase is chock full of tweens and weeabos that can't seem to get their heads straight when it comes to watching it.
That's just me but I'm one of the very few sane and older fans that regret to have such a fanbase where the non-sane fans don't get the fact on how idiotic they are.
Also, running off to see your other stuff, per your request
